How to remove your Google Web Data History

Do you know if Google is tracking your Web activity? If you have a Google account (for, say, Gmail) and have not specifically located and paused the Web History setting, then the search giant is keeping track of your searches and the sites you visited. This data has been separated from other Google products, but on March 1 it will be shared across all of the Google products you use when Google’s new privacy policy goes into effect.

If you’d like to prevent Google from combining this potentially sensitive data with the information it has collected from your YouTube, Google+, and other Google accounts, you can remove your Web History and stop it from being recorded moving forward.

After signing into your Google account, type https://www.google.com/history into your browser. (Alternatively, you can choose Account Settings from the pull-down menu in the upper-right corner of a Google product such as Gmail, Google+, or Google.com. From the Account Settings page, scroll down to the Services header and click on the “Go to web history” link.) If your Web History is enabled, you’ll see a list of recent searches and sites visited. Click the gray Remove all Web History button at the top of the page and a subsequent OK button to clear your Web History.

Just the way I like it, empty and paused.

This action also pauses the Web History feature so that it will no longer track your Web searches and whereabouts. If you’d like to fire it back up, simply click the blue Resume button.

Indian Government going to ban Google, Facebook, Yahoo and other 18 websites

The Indian Government on Friday flag off to prosecute social networking websites, including Google, Facebook,Yahoo and 18 others, for allegedly promoting enmity between classes and causing prejudice to national integration.

Sudesh Kumar, the department of Information Technology said, “there was enough material is available to take action against these 21 website, the can case can be filed under Section 196 of Criminal Procedure Code to “PROCEED AGAINST THE ACCUSED PERSONS IN THE COMPLAINT”; It is require to do to maintain the Harmony and Cultural balance in country. These website is providing the space for many immoral activity which cause many social fights and cause to many riots & other activity.”

“The sanctioning authority has personally gone through the entire records and material produced before him and after considering and examining the same, he is satisfied that there is sufficient material to proceed against the accused persons under section 153-A, 153-B and 295-A of the IPC,” the report stated.

The court had on December 23 issued summons to 21 social networking websites for alleged offences of criminal conspiracy, sale of obscene books and sale of obscene objects to young persons.

No comment is come from any of the Listed Social Website. This can be one of the BIG ISSUE in media now days. Also in recent years India witness increase in the Internet User in which the user for SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE are most. In the all statistic the YOUNG Generation are in leads. As current trend young generation blindly believe in the content of the SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE and they follow very much.

The search engine like GOOGLE, YAHOO and BING are come into scanner because they are source of the content to mass and all information are available in one click. Though search engine assuring that they are providing safe search but it is not mandatory the user need to select the option. The statics shows that these search engine is getting hits most of for query “PORN”, “XXX” or “BOMB” etc (list is big ;)).

Many mix comment are coming for this action. But I believe that this might come because recent “ANNA HAZARE CAMPAIGN” which run through social media and get famous overnight because it reach to many young generation through the these website….

But I believe that it is really good step and save our culture form influence of INTERNET HARMS…

Let keep close watch on this…and I wish all the best to INDIA Government. Hope they fight well…
